Before starting up at Pojero Family Chiropractic, I had signs of “aging” not so gracefully! My son was the first in our family to seek chiropractic treatment and now I am one of a family of six all feeling better...and for me younger. I have used chiropractic care as a source of improved health and have been seeing the doctors for the past 4 months. In that time I now feel more “connected” to myself in a good way. I just wanted to send a great big thank you to Dr Gaby and Dr John for helping my breech baby flip into a head down position in just five visits with the Webster Breech Turning Technique!

At 35 ½ weeks I learned my baby was still breech and decided to give a chiropractor a call. Being new to Sayville, I went on Sayville Moms and was quickly referred to Pojero Family Chiropractic. We decided on a care plan that included alternating visits to perform adjustments on my spine one day and The Webster Breech Turning Technique the next. The entire staff went above and beyond for me and even helped entertain my other children while I had my adjustments. I wholeheartedly recommend giving them a try if you ever find yourself in a similar position!

I was having quite a bit of pain in my lower back and was in pain from sciatica.  Sitting down for long periods of time was very painful.

In less than 6 months, I felt such improvements I felt great!

I have always saw that chiropractic is the way to go.  It has always helped me in the past when other treatments were not helpful.  The help that I have received from Dr. John & Dr. Gaby have had such a positive and profound effect on me! Before starting my chiropractic care I had severe hip pain. In 2013 I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, had a single mastectomy in 2014 and endured chemotherapy for 6 long months. After my second chemo treatment I had an allergic reaction to the type of drug they had given me which caused a heart attack and permanent damage to my heart.  I had undergone approximately 8 surgeries in under 2 ½ years.  The doctors treated me almost completely through medications. I never thought that I could ever come off of all the medications that I was put on (23 pills a day).  I was not physically the same person anymore. I was in chronic pain every day and that became my “new normal”.

In 2016 I started my chiropractic journey at Pojero Family Chiropractic.  I had only hoped that my pain would be eased a little.  After a few short months of regular chiropractic care, I was feeling like myself again. That in itself felt like a miracle.  The longer I continued with my adjustments the stronger I became and I was not getting sick as much.

I am excited to say that I am now off ALL medications and have learned to manage my health with chiropractic care and natural remedies thanks to Dr. John and Dr. Gaby.

Before starting our family’s care at Pojero Family Chiropractic, our way of life was to take Advil or Tylenol to ease any discomfort we had.  At the first sign of a cold we ran to the doctors for antibiotics and cough medicine.

After only 6 months of receiving care at Pojero Family Chiropractic, this winter has been very different for us and our health.  The first very noticeable difference is that with regular care, there have been a lot fewer colds, ear infections and illnesses.

I am proud to say that my family has NOT taken any antibiotics this entire year!

I was introduced to chiropractic care while seeking relief from constant migraine; I was suffering with over 30 migraines per month. Previous medical treatment had caused muscle weakness and deteriorating eyesight. Every time I tried to exercise I would cause more migraines. I was over medicated and miserable when I had a migraine, scared of doing anything enjoyable because it might cause a migraine.  After being under Chiropractic Care for 12 years now, when I am not feeling 100% my first stop for relief is Pojero Family Chiropractic. I ask questions there before calling an M.D. as Dr.  John and Dr. Gaby do more than adjust vertebrae, but take care of the whole body in a natural and holistic approach, with as little medication as possible. I have a more positive outlook each day knowing I have a resource in Pojero Family Chiropractic to use when I’m suffering from pain. Being able to go in for treatment whenever I need to lets me be more involved in life with family and friends.

The human body is an amazing thing, and how proper maintenance is all that is necessary to keep it functioning at its best. Good posture is essential to good health and a pain free life. Learning to maintain my body, keeping good posture and being adjusted regularly has improved my life immeasurable. Most people who suffer with migraines to the extent that I do are not able to hold a fulltime job and are unable to participate in a lot of life’s joys. Drs. Before starting my care at Pojero Family Chiropractic, my back & legs hurt so badly, I couldn’t even get off a chair or out of bed without having pain.  I was told that I had Sciatica.

After a few visits with Dr.’s John & Gabrielle, I felt much better.  I walked more erect, getting out of bed and getting up from a chair was painless.
